(See the “About Us“ page for a list of service providers by state for the Children First Program classes, or call 618-235-6192).
History:
Children First pioneered the first curriculum for divorcing parents in the country. It began licensing providers by court district to use the curriculum video and Moderator's Guide in 1988. The video was revised and added to in 1998. There was a DVD version of the video produced in 2004. A four-hour curriculum with two accompanying DVD's were released in July 2006 (with Spanish subtitle option). The curriculums can only be used by a Children First licensed service provider. A copy of the license is found on the “About Us” page, or call 618-235-6192 for information. Please ask for Christy. Licenses were revised in July 2006 in Illinois and January 2007 in other states, and are licensed by counties serviced.
